Charles Ashbaugh (chuck)

Chuck is Canadian with a degree in Physics from Dalhousie Univ, Halifax N.S. Canada He is an avid blue water sailor having covered enough ocean distance to have travelled around the globe. Chuck has been a commercial fisherman before spending 15 years in marine electronics and then starting Sasco Inc in 1987. While CEO of Sasco he was awarded a US patent for the design of a marine acoustic coupling device. His love of the ocean, curiosity, and respect for the work of commercial fishermen is deeply embedded within the Sasco ethos.
